Shanghai Welcomes ATP

Up until now there was no official ATP tour stop in Asia. Shanghai has adopted one of the nine major stops for the ATPMasters 1000. With a $4 million dollar prize purse and 150,000 live spectators expected this is a great step for Asia. Bangkok, Tokyo and Beijing have been added to the roster to help boost tennis interest in Asia as well as tour player's practice. Jiang Lan is the general manager of Juss International Sports Event Management Co, and responsible for a lot of this. He specifically has made 200 court side seats for loyal fans that would normally be for corporate sale or media in order to show how important the people are in making the ATP welcome in Asia. Here is there official site.
