Blake Blown Away in Rome

American James Blake was beaten in the first round during the Rome Masters on thursday. The Romanian qualifier, Victor Crivoi, won in straight sets 7-5 6-3. James Blake knows he has some work to do over the next three weeks if he is going to do well in the French Open. In the end, Blake didn't seem to have the energy or power to overcome the ultra fit 26 year old Romanian. Despite James Blake being up 2-0 in the second set, he came up short leaving Rome early.
